Well, the car came home after driving to some small town East of Columbus to have it towed. I will post some pictures. Its been fun so far but the first 3 weeks I had it, it was in the shop! Had a new heater core and a service done. Then 2 days later, i took the radio out and drove down the street and BATMAN smoke came rushing out of the heater vents. I thought I was on fire! Turns out is was the windshield motor had heated up and shorted out. It also got a new wiper moter and wiper computer and a new water pump. Now its driving good and just about smells OK now. Got the carpets cleaned and getting ready to put the front seat back in. I will install a pioneer cd plyer pretty soon. Its just too cold to to outside right now. Like 15 degrees.
I paid 2,000 for the car
400 for the heater cord
700 for the big blow up repair
Mechanic says it may need brake lines and fuel lines soon but I’ll look at that in the summer.
I plan on putting in new speakers, new headliner and possibly some new seat covers.
Car has 56,000 miles on it. Great interior. Good paint (second paint job)
Car was owned by one guy the whole time. High school graduation present. I dont think that they drove it for a long time. I am just blowing the spider webs out of it now.
